We've been investigating more jokes for kids. Among the best we came across was:
Knock, knock
Who's there?
Cheese
Cheese who?
Cheese a nice looking girl!
Wine is a wonderful invention. A bottle of red wine with dinner is a wonderful treat.
I just thought, you know, I'd get that off my chest and, well, set the ambience for tonight's entry. It's a red wine glow sort of ambience.
We went down to the beach at Seatoun this afternoon, in the late afternoon just before the sun sunk down below the hills. In the late afternoon when the light is golden and sharp and utterly perfect. In the late afternoon just as the chill of the evening starts to creep. Joshua fell asleep in the pram as I walked him, Debbie collected shells from the beach and Matthew played in the playground, and ran down onto the beach. I took some photos.
I keep meaning to scan some photos for here. Of our house and section, of Josh, of Matthew.
We've just recently subscribed to some pay sports tv channels. this means I get the NBA play-off games live. Aside for random flicking through channel surfing, and the E! online Wild on Ibiza programme, the basketball is about all the tv I'm watching at the moment. It's years since I've closely followed the NBA, and it surely must be a sign that my team the Boston Celtics is doing so well! My basketball team has the same colour green for our uniforms. I used to play in number 33, like, you know, Larry Bird did. Hey, at least I was white, couldn't jump and couldn't run!
